The Houston Texans are taking on the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium on Thursday Night Football. Here’s how you can watch.
New England and Houston are both 2-0, but head into primetime in completely different circumstances. The Patriots are down to their third quarterback with Jacoby Brissett getting his first NFL start. The rookie was brought in to replace Jimmy Garoppolo last week, when Tom Brady’s understudy sustained an injury to the AC joint in his shoulder.
As for Houston, it beat the Kansas City Chiefs last week and now plays its first road game. The Texans will be without Brian Cushing and Duane Brown, but does have its starting quarterback with Brock Osweiler at the helm. Osweiler will be looking to improve, however, after throwing three interceptions in his first two games as the starter in Houston.

Even though it is Week 3, this is a huge game in the AFC playoff picture. Both teams are likely to win their respective divisions and the winner of this game would have an important potential tiebreaker. Should New England win with its third-string quarterback, it would add another notch on the considerable belt of head coach Bill Belichick, who seemingly knows no bounds to victory.
The Texans have an opportunity to get a key road win. Head coach Bill O’Brien was once an offensive assistant under Belichick, adding another layer to this drama.
