Borussia Dortmund face Freiburg on Friday, Sept. 17. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

If you are keeping score at home, Borussia Dortmund is leading 11-1 over the last 180 min of Bundesliga soccer. Factor in their 6-0 obliteration of Legia Warsaw in the Champions League and we are looking at a September to remember for the black and yellow. Any concerns about pouring it on against lesser opposition should be tempered by the 5-1 away win to Wolfsburg, a regular fixture at the top of the Bundesliga, a team that took Real Madrid the distance in the Champions League semifinals this spring.

Perhaps the main attraction for the American soccer fan is the presence of Christian Pulisic, (aka “the truth”), the eighteen year old midfielder who will be holding the keys to the USMNT midfield for the next decade. Pulisic started Borussia’s last game against Dortmund, subbing out at halftime, as coach Thomas Tuchel continues to rotate his cast of young midfielders.

Despite winning their last three Bundesliga games, Borussia currently find themselves in third place, paying the price for an away loss to Leipzig in their second league game.

Just promoted – Freiburg are in 9th place coming off an important, if somewhat surprising win against Hamburger SV.
