Arsenal faces Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium on September 24, 2016. Here’s all the info you need to watch the game online.
The biggest game in the Premier League this week will no doubt be the London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea. This is one of football’s oldest, and best rivalries. The two sides’ hatred for each other is well-documented, with Eastern Promises being the most noteworthy fictional account of it.
Chelsea went 3-0 to start the Premier League season, but things have soured recently. Two dropped points to Swansea City, then a home loss to Liverpool have made life difficult for the Blues.
But that hasn’t slowed down Diego Costa, who has five goals in as many games and is at the top of the Premier League scoring chart. And after Cesc Fabregas had a great performance in the League Cup against Leicester City, he should get into the starting lineup, much to the chagrin of Arsenal fans.

Arsenal, meanwhile, got off to a slow start in the Premier League, but have since turned things around. They have won three straight Premier League games, and withstood a tough test in the Champions League by drawing against PSG on the road. Their new signings have made a positive impact too, with Granit Xhaka scoring highlight-reel goals in Arsenal’s last two games.
In Arsene Wenger’s 20 years at Arsenal, he has faced plenty of Chelsea managers. His encounters with Jose Mourinho were always the most note-worthy ones, and considering the Portuguese’s great record against him, he’s glad to not have him on the Chelsea bench this season. But after Mourinho once said he would “find Wenger outside the football pitch one day and break his face,” Conte should prove to be a much friendlier adversary.
