Here’s how you can watch Saturday evening’s Texas State vs Houston game from San Marcos online.

Houston might just be one of the most impressive under-the-radar teams this season, taking down the No. 3 Oklahoma Sooners in Week 1. The Cougars are 3-0 and have even won a game in blowout fashion, albeit against Lamar, without starting quarterback Greg Ward Jr. who might just be a Heisman candidate.

Ward Jr. has passed for 647 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions in two games while rushing for another 74 and two scores. He’s putting together an impressive campaign for the Cougars and might help lead them to the College Football Playoff.

Linell Bonner and Steven Dunbar have been Ward’s favorite targets this season, combining for 26 receptions for 378 yards. The ground game has been impressive, accounting for an average of about 217 yards per game. A trio of young running backs — Duke Catalon, Mulbah Car and Kevrin Justice — have all accounted for 100 yards on the year.

Texas State hasn’t been great this season, putting up a 1-1 record through two games, and this might be an ugly game for the Bobcats going up against an elite in-state foe.

Senior quarterback Tyler Jones is in his third year as the starting quarterback, compiling 501 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions with a completion rate of 63 percent. Eric Luna leads the team in receptions with 11 for 99 yards and a score, but Elijah King is the top receiver with eight catches for 129 yards and two touchdowns.

The run game, though, is averaging just over 60 yards per game on the ground. That might be a problem.
