In an SEC East matchup, the Kentucky Wildcats will host the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday. Here is how to watch online.
The Kentucky Wildcats finally put one in the win column this past week, as they dominated New Mexico State, 62-42. Kentucky got a nice start from Stephen Jackson, who was filling in for the injured Drew Baker. Jackson threw for 310 yards and three touchdowns, while taking good care of the ball. Baker is expected to miss a bunch of time, so expect Jackson as the main signal-caller going forward.
Kentucky is led on the ground by Boom Williams, who had to leave the New Mexico State game with an injury. He was able to return to the game, and despite being limited at practice this week, will be in the starting lineup Saturday. He is going to have some tough sledding against a very solid South Carolina defense.
Brandon McIlwain continues to be the Gamecocks’ man under center, and he has played ok throughout the first few games of the season. However, the offense as a whole has struggled, which is strange considering the team is led by first-year head coach Will Muschamp. It will be interesting to see if they can move the ball against the South Carolina D.

Kentucky will need to get their offense going if they want to beat the Gamecocks on Saturday. They got a nice boost from Jackson last week, and if Williams is 100%, they should be able to move the ball. South Carolina is solid up front, so whoever can put points on the board early should be able to win it. Expect a low-scoring affair on Saturday, with Kentucky pulling out the victory.
