Twitter had a lot to say after the Tennessee Volunteers came back and defeated the Florida Gators for the first time since 2004.

The Tennessee Volunteers pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in their school’s history on Saturday. They also pulled off a personal feat that had been lingering over them for a decade. For the first time since 2004, the Volunteers defeated the Florida Gators.

For those that were watching the first half of the game, it looked like that streak was going to continue. Tennessee couldn’t get the ball moving, nor could they stop Florida. The team was booed off the field and everyone was ready for sweeping changes within the program.

In the second half, the Volunteers rattled off 38 unanswered points and the team looked like one of the best in the country. They were getting to the quarterback on defense and on offense, Joshua Dobbs became unleashed. With Tennessee making the comeback, Twitter had plenty to say after roasting the Volunteers in the first half.

This was certainly a statement win for the Volunteers. It’s a win that will be remembered because of how they faced adversity. Also it was a great moment for Volunteers fans to trash talk a little bit after losing to Florida for 11 straight years.
