3. LSU needs to fire Les Miles immediately

Saturday night was the final straw for LSU. The team came out lackluster again and was lucky enough to even have a chance at getting their final score waved off. They were not prepared for Auburn and it showed on the field.

All this talk about whether or not Les Miles should remain as a coach has created a cloud that has hung over the program dating back to last year. They need to remove that cloud and the only way to do it is to just get it over with and let go of him immediately.

He will have no issues landing on his feet at another fine program and the Tigers can focus on going in another direction. Their season is done because the playoff is all that matters in Baton Rouge. With two losses, they have no shot at getting in now.

If they want to keep stringing this along on a week-to-week basis, they can, but it’s not going to change the fact that it’s time to do it. It might be best for everyone involved to move on and go in that different direction.
