Play of the Week: Bryce Bobo’s one-handed game-winning touchdown catch vs Oregon
It wasn’t just the Volunteers of the SEC that had themselves a culture-shifting win on Saturday afternoon. Though many may have overlooked this game in the Pac-12 because neither team was ranked in Week 4, the Colorado Buffaloes’ win over the Oregon Ducks in Eugene makes them a serious contender in the Pac-12 South.
Colorado is 3-1 on the year under head coach Mike McIntyre. The Buffaloes offense might be the most explosive in the Pac-12 in 2016. To beat Oregon at Autzen Stadium is a huge win for any program. How the Buffaloes did it was simply remarkable.

At the 8:51 mark in the fourth quarter, backup quarterback Steven Montez chucked a pass to the back of the end zone to wide receiver Bryce Bobo. Bobo leaves his feet and makes an over the shoulder, one-handed catch to put the Buffaloes up 41-38 on the Ducks in Eugene.

Colorado would need a goal-line interception to upset the Ducks on the road. Bobo’s catch would be the game-winner. It was the play that helped give Colorado legitimacy in the Pac-12 South. If the Buffaloes can handle rival Utah in the Rumble in the Rockies in late November, Colorado might be the Pac-12 South Champion. Bobo’s catch was sensational.
