While Donald Trump was spouting off during the debate, his website crashed. But that’s not the only thing that went wrong for the Trump campaign.
Even the presence of a moderator and the setting of a University in a swing state couldn’t stop Donald Trump from spouting off. M
ost of the time, he spoke was when it was Hillary Clinton’s turn to speak. And when Clinton brought up Trump’s controversial “global warming” tweet, he denied ever saying it. But Twitter was quick to point out when he was lying:
The Trump campaign actually deleted the original tweet, even though it was still on his account at the start of the debate. And for a while, DonaldTrump.com was down, although it’s back up now.
Clearly, Trump’s campaign is having a hard time covering the Presidential candidate’s tracks. He is a loose cannon, of that there is no doubt, and he lets his feelings be heard on social media. While his 11 million followers will accept his words as fact, the rest of the population is able to see through it. Clinton did too, which is why she brought it up in the first place.
The fact that they’ve had to keep back-tracking on Trump’s deep-cut tweets is probably what led to his site crashing. His website, after all, is where he tells people to go to for more information on his platform. But since he keeps lying about his platform, his interns probably have to go back and change his website, which is what leads to all of these unexpected “maintenance problems.”

Thankfully, even without a website crash, there’s FactCheck.org to help keep track of every time these candidates lie. And as long as their Presidential hopeful keeps lying about what he used to say, then his IT department will probably have to start working overtime come November.
