Just when you thought the Browns would pull out a win, they fall apart at the last minute. Literally. After Corey Lemonier strip-sacked Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill and recovered within field goal range, it looked like Cleveland would win their first game since December 13.
The Browns brought in former Pro Bowl kicker Cody Parkey just days prior to their game in Miami. And since they are the Browns, the field goal attempt by Parkey to seal the win sailed wide to the left. This sent the game into overtime.

After both Miami and Cleveland failed to score on their first opportunities, Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi scored on an 11-yard run to end it.

Cleveland has the second-worst point differential in the NFL at -30 through Week 3. Running out your third-string quarterback won’t help that, although Cody Kessler did enough to at-least keep the Browns afloat.

The former USC quarterback was forced into action after Robert Griffin III and Josh McCown suffered major injuries to their throwing arms. Kessler finished the game 22-of-31 with 244 yards and two fumbles.

A major bright spot however was the versatility of Terrelle Pryor, who played quarterback, wide receiver, and safety. While it’s not time to call him the league’s next “60-minute man,” it was good to see him at-least perform well at quarterback and wide receiver.

Cleveland did nearly everything they could have to win this game, except hold onto the ball and play defense.

The Browns will travel to Washington next week, and get ready to face the wrath of Tom Brady in Week 5.
. 0-3.
