14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

WR. USC. JuJu Smith-Schuster . 14. player. 48. Switching head coaches doesn’t have the desired effect all the time. At least not immediately. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers promoted Dirk Koetter because they were afraid of losing him to a head coaching job elsewhere. That doesn’t mean he was ready. It may take more time before he becomes what they hope he can be. In the interim it’s likely the team will continue to experience growing pains with such a young roster.
Young in most areas that is. At least one of their key players is staring old age right in the face. Vincent Jackson was one of the dominant receivers in the NFL at one point in time. He just hasn’t been that same player the past couple years. Last season he missed six games with injury and it hasn’t gotten better so far in 2016. Through three games he has just 99 yards on nine catches while teammates Mike Evans and Adam Humphries have each eclipsed 200.

It may be time for the Bucs to make a move at wide receiver in order to ensure Jameis Winston is properly armed. JuJu Smith-Schuster may be one of the most polarizing names of the 2017 class. He is very popular with some and reviled by others. What is clear about him is he’s a good-sized 6-foot-2 target who can be dangerous in the open field thanks to his athleticism. Coupled with Evans and Humphries, that can make for a formidable trio to exploit defenses.
