Although he’s injured, Seth Rollins is not expected to miss any TV time going forward on WWE RAW

This past Sunday night Seth Rollins was in the main event of the first WWE RAW pay-per-view, Clash of Champions. He took on WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens in a losing effort, but during the course of the match, there was a scary moment where Rollins appeared to have injured his ribs taking a move from Owens off the top rope.

Monday night on RAW, while Rollins was on television, he did not get physical in anyway whatsoever, leading many to believe that the injury might be more serious than some had thought. Well, that might not be the case, as the company might be being just a little cautious.

According to the Cage Side Seats Rumor Roundup on Wednesday, while Rollins is banged up from the match, he’s not expected to miss any time on television. So he is injured, but they do plan on putting him back in the ring some time soon, but for now, they’re gonna be as cautious as possible and not let him get too physical.

Given recent events, this is the smart move. Let’s forget the fact that Rollins is coming off a long layoff after rehabbing from a severe knee injury that he suffered last November that forced him to relinquish the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but he’s now on his way to being billed as the brand’s top babyface. It’s imperative at this point that he’s on television as much as possible to build this new character that he’s portraying for the near future.

For now, though, we should all just be grateful that “The Architect” wasn’t more seriously injured in that match, because after he took the move, he seemed to really be favoring that ribcage area.
