Thereā€™s so much I can say about the college town tradition in South Bend, but Iā€™ll let this spark my quick monologue about Notre Dame:

I have no idea if itā€™s accurate, but I assume that every kid from Notre Dame, IN is just like Rudy. If you havenā€™t seen this movie, close this slider and go watch it. He does literally anything to play just one game for the Fighting Irish. His family didnā€™t go to Notre Dame, but heā€™s still raised a diehard fan.

I teared up a little bit watching that video.

"Making the journey to Notre Dame for a football game is on the bucket list for many sports fans. This is not hard to see when you arrive to South Bend. The atmosphere on a football weekend is electric, as the entire community shuts down in support of the Irish. Also, check out the nearby Eddy Street, the home of many popular restaurants and bars."
