Here’s a look at what college football fans can expect during the fifth week of the 2016 season, including predictions for the Top 25 teams in action.

Just like that, folks, the 2016 college football season is already a month old. We’ve seen upsets, we’ve seen dominating performances, and we’ve seen losing streaks in the double digits come to an end.

We’ve got Heisman candidates from unexpected places and teams that were supposed to be in the College Football Playoff already on their second coach of the season. If that’s the first month of 2016, I can’t wait to see what the last two have in store!

Here’s a look ahead at Week Five of the 2016 college football season.

Game of The Week – No. 3 Louisville at No. 5 Clemson

In the entire history of the ACC (going back to the 1953 season), there have been just four games between conference members ranked in the top five at the time. The number will go up to five this weekend thanks to the surprise story in college football that shouldn’t be a surprise.

Lamar Jackson has vaulted to the top of many Heisman boards and has the Cardinals thinking conference title and a spot in the College Football Playoff. They are not a fluke and have an offense that can outscore any team in college football and a defense that can stop almost anyone — just ask Florida State.

This weekend, they will face the conference’s defending champs and a team that was just a few plays away from being national champs last season. Clemson has the talent to get back to that point, led of course by quarterback Deshaun Watson and an offense that finally seems to be gaining its momentum.

The $1 million dollar question: Can the Tigers’ defense do enough to keep their team in the game taking on a high-powered offense like Jackson and the Cards run?
