The latest betting odds, trends and more for this NFC North matchup between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions.

These two teams may be the bottom feeders of the NFC North, but this Week 4 match-up between the 1-2 Detroit Lions and 0-3 Chicago Bears is important. If the Lions can pull off a win here, they should be able to get back into the division race with the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers.

Oddshark lists the Lions as two-point favorites on the road in this one. While the Lions are not exactly the class of the NFC, the Bears have been an absolute dumpster fire this season. The Lions being favorites in the Bears’ home building is not much of a surprise. The over/under for this game is set at 46 points.

The Lions are not only road favorites in this game, the betting trends also appear to be in their favor. Detroit is 4-2 both against the spread and straight up in their last six games and hold the same record in their last six road contests.

On the other hand, the Bears are 1-7 in their last seven games both against the spread and straight up. The Lions are also a strong 5-2-1 against the spread versus Chicago in these two teams’ last eight games.

Betting trends are not always reliable, but the Lions appear to be a strong bet in this one. However, it has more to do with factors beyond these numbers.

Led by Matthew Stafford and Marvin Jones, this Lions’ offense is rolling. They have become a dynamic offensive unit who should be able to put up some serious points against the Bears.

The Lions are not only the more talented team in this contest, but the Bears are dealing with significant injuries throughout the roster. This Bears team is not set up for current success, and the Lions should be able to take full advantage on Sunday.

This should be an interesting contest between two NFC North rivals. With both defenses being extremely suspect, this could quickly turn into a shootout.

This will be the first match-up of the season for these NFC North rivals. The game will kickoff at 1 p.m. ET at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois, and will be televised live on Fox.
