Sprint Cup Series Citizen Soldier 400 at Dover TV schedule
By Ted Fleming
Here is your complete guide to the Sprint Cup television schedule from practice through qualifying and the race on Sunday at Dover International Speedway.
Two down, one to go.
Sunday is elimination day for four drivers in the Chase for the Sprint Cup as NASCAR heads to Dover International Speedway, otherwise known as the Monster Mile. At the end of the Citizen Soldier 400, the Round of 16 will be trimmed to a dozen as the series will move into phase two of the championship run next week in Charlotte.
Weather is expected to be a factor this weekend with a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms on Friday which means that practice and qualifying could be affected. If so, the field will be set according to driver’s points putting all Chase drivers into the first eight rows of the starting grid with Brad Keselowski on the pole and Martin Truex Jr. next to him on the front row.
The four drivers currently on the bubble are Jamie McMurray (-5 behind Kyle Larson in 12th place), Austin Dillon (-5), Tony Stewart (-11) and Chris Buescher (-30). At this point the only way Buescher advances is with a win. He does have a victory at Dover, but it came in the Xfinity Series a year ago in May. His only Cup start was an 18th place finish.

Richmond could be considered a home track for Truex as he hails from Mayetta, NJ, about a 2.5 hour drive or as the crow flies, just 76 miles away.
