The Clemson Tigers face the Louisville Cardinals at Memorial Stadium (Death Valley) on Saturday. Here’s how to watch the college football matchup online
This is what college football is all about. The Clemson Tigers fells just short of a national championship last season. Now Dabo Swinney and Deshaun Watson are looking to return there. However, Lamar Jackson and the Louisville Cardinals are the story everyone’s watching in 2016. Those same Cardinals will now go on the road to Death Valley for a Week 5 matchup with the Cardinals that is must-watch action.
What Jackson has been able to do offensively this season seems straight out of a video game. The Louisville quarterback already has 25 total touchdowns on the season. Moreover, the Cardinals’ lowest point total this season is an absurd 59 points, which includes putting up 63 on Florida State. We know they can score, but they haven’t faced a defense like Clemson’s yet this season.
Clemson has gotten the perception that they’ve been “disappointing” in their 4-0 start. However, that’s not totally been the case. While Watson hasn’t been quite on the level he was last year, their defense is every bit as good and their offense is still every bit as dangerous with their star quarterback, Wayne Gallman, and Mike Williams. The question, though, is if that defense can slow Jackson and the Cardinals and if the offense can keep pace with the best attack in football.
