Here’s how to watch Saturday’s non-conference matchup between the Memphis Tigers and No. 16 Ole Miss Rebels online.

The No. 16 Ole Miss Rebels will look to avenge last year’s loss to the Memphis Tigers when the two teams meet again on Saturday night at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

One of the most talented teams in the nation, Ole Miss built huge advantages against both Florida State and Alabama only to become the first Power Five team in a decade to blow a pair of 21-point leads in the same season. The Rebels trounced then-No. 12 Georgia 45-14 a week ago to improve to 2-2 on the year.

Quarterback Chad Kelly is well on his way to turning in another strong season and has an excellent group of receivers to spread the ball to, led by tight end Evan Engram with 397 receiving yards. More impressive was the effort on the other side of the ball in Saturday’s win over the Bulldogs, as the Land Shark defense swarmed Jacob Eason and company.

This is not the same Memphis team that shocked Ole Miss last season, as head coach Justin Fuente is now in charge at Virginia Tech and quarterback Paxton Lynch is in the NFL. Still, the Tigers are off to a 3-0 start and have not been challenged yet, albeit against a really soft schedule.

Date:  Saturday, October 1

Junior quarterback Riley Ferguson has done an effective job replacing Lynch so far, completing 68 percent of his passes for 843 yards and 11 touchdowns.  Memphis allowed just 27 total points against Southeast Missouri State, Kansas and Bowling Green, but will get a major test against the athletes of Ole Miss.

While this is a big mismatch on paper, Ole Miss has been one of the most unpredictable teams in the nation over the past few years. The Rebels will be careful not to overlook Memphis with road contests against Arkansas and LSU on the schedule in the coming weeks.
