Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon’s Northwestern vs Iowa game from Iowa City online.

The Iowa Hawkeyes are looking to get back on track against Northwestern on Saturday. The Hawkeyes might have a 3-1 record overall, but they lost to North Dakota State a couple weeks ago and nearly fell to Rutgers last week, only winning 14-7.

C.J. Beathard has had a mediocre start to the season although he’s considered one of the best quarterbacks in the Big Ten. He has passed for 741 yards and eight touchdowns with a 59 percent completion rate. Things won’t be getting any easier, though, as he’s lost his top target, Matt VandeBerg, for a lengthy amount of time.

Tight end George Kittle is the leading receiver without VandeBerg, catching 10 passes for 192 yards and two scores. Akrum Wadley and LeShun Daniels Jr. are a dynamic duo in the run game, combining for 575 yards and seven touchdowns.

Northwestern is led by sophomore quarterback Clayton Thorson who was highly-touted out of high school a couple years ago. He hasn’t really lived up to expectations just yet, passing for 956 yards, five touchdowns and four interceptions and he’s only completing about 53 percent of his throws.

Senior wide out Austin Carr has been impressive, leading the team with 26 catches for 392 yards and three touchdowns — quite a wide margin between him and the next receiver.

The run game averages just over 100 yards per game even though Justin Jackson is an All-Big Ten candidate. He’s rushed for 339 yards and three touchdowns on 4.1 yards per carry. Iowa’s defense should have no problem with the Wildcats.
