The Rutgers Scarlet Knights have a big task ahead of them in Week 5, as they travel to Ohio to take on the #2 Ohio State Buckeyes.
The Ohio State Buckeyes appear poised to make another run at a national title in 2016, and on Saturday, they will play host to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. The Buckeyes are currently the second-ranked team in the country, and have one of the more dominant play-makers at quarterback in the nation. This one should be easy sledding for Ohio State, who are coming off an off week.
The game is the Big Ten opener for both teams, who appear to be headed in different directions this season. During his career, Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is 44-3 in games in which he has had the extra week to prepare, so expect a big victory for the Buckeyes on Saturday. Rutgers is just not in the same class as the Buckeyes this season, and could be in for a long afternoon.

Former Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano is now the associate head coach at Ohio State, as he and defensive coordinator Luke Fickell spent 11 years together at the school located in New Bruswick, New Jersey. Schiano is one of the more decorated coaches in Rutgers history, as he led the program to a national level during his time there. The Scarlet Knights produced numerous NFL players during Schiano’s tenure, and he only left the school because he got an offer to coach the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Buckeyes are absolutely loaded this year, and J.T. Barrett is one of the more exciting players in all of college football. He should have no trouble moving the ball against Rutgers, in what should be a nice and easy Big Ten opener at home. Ohio State is nearly a 40 point favorite against the Scarlet Knights, and it actually could get that ugly.
