Tennessee beat Georgia when their wide receiver Jauan Jennings caught a Hail Mary on the last play. As expected, Twitter was hot fire.
Tennessee and Georgia played one of the best games of the college football season. While the Bulldogs led everyone to believe Nick Chubb wouldn’t play, he surprised everyone by taking the field. The two teams played a back-and-forth contest to see which program was more overrated.
Georgia has hardly had a comfortable win this season. They only held on against Nicholls State, and needed a last-minute touchdown to top Missouri. It looked like they would escape with a win and hand Tennessee their first loss, but the Volunteers pulled a Green Bay Packers by winning on a last-second Hail Mary. The throw by Josh Dobbs and catch by Jauan Jennings sent Twitter into an absolute firestorm:
The amount of babies being born in Tennessee 9 months from now will be astronomical #TENNvsUGA

Tennessee was a pre-season favorite when they were ranked number 10. So far, they’ve gone 5-0, but nobody expected them to get there this way. They needed overtime to beat Nicholls State, and came down 21-3 to beat Florida. This win over Georgia just adds to what has become a roller-coaster season for Vols fans.
As if to add insult to injury, the CBS announcers felt it appropriate to mention that Tennessee’s quarterback Josh Dobbs is a Georgia native, but was never recruited by the Bulldogs. Jacob Eason had another great game, but as always, the defense let him down. While Georgia usually go at least 3-0 or 4-0 before collapsing, it looks like that has come a bit earlier this year.

This was a phenomenal game from beginning to end, and yet it was par for the course for the SEC. But after watching this, you’d have to think that Alabama fans were sitting back and laughing at both of these teams.
