A look at how to watch Saturday’s game between the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma State Cowboys.
To kick off Saturday’s slate of college football games, the No. 22 Texas Longhorns will go to Stillwater, OK to battle the Oklahoma State Cowboys. This is Texas’ first Big 12 game, while Oklahoma State is coming off a loss in their first conference contest of the season to Baylor.
Texas started the season hot, beating Notre Dame in a shootout, 50-47 to knock off the then No. 10 ranked team. They proceeded to beat UTEP, but then fell to unranked California in another high scoring affair, 50-43.
The Longhorns have somewhat relied on the arm of freshman quarterback Shane Buechele. He has seven touchdowns through three games, but has received assistance from a stout rushing attack. They’ve accumulated 715 yards on 157 carries for 10 touchdowns. The leader of the pack is D’Onta Foreman, who has 288 yards and three touchdowns.

As noted, Texas has struggled on defense by allowing 97 combined points against Notre Dame and Cal. They let up 9 touchdown passes total, signaling some weakness in the secondary. Things may remain the same with Oklahoma State’s Mason Rudolph at the helm.
Rudolph has looked solid at times in 2016, throwing for 1,296 yards and six touchdowns. He’s thrown a ridiculous amount of passes through four games, though, with 159. This is with a poor rushing game, that’s only run for 3.4 yards per carry. This unbalanced attack has led them to a 2-2 record, along with poor luck against Central Michigan in the final moments.
