The best choice at quarterback this week may come as a surprise to many.  Trevor Siemian is my quarterback stream of the week. A strong week three performance combined with the fact that Siemian is playing a weak team in Tampa Bay makes him a top quarterback in my opinion. Siemian is owned in only 26% of leagues meaning plenty of people do not have the faith to start Siemian despite the strong week three effort. Siemian will surely have another strong week in my opinion.

Tampa Bay’s Quarterback Woes

The Buccaneers pass defense has been outright awful this season. The stat line for opposing fantasy quarterbacks reads as follows — 24, 24, 13. Case Keenum even had a decent game against the Bucs in week three and in my opinion Siemian has shown that he can get the job done. Although the Broncos will not be at home this week, Siemian has shown the difference between home and away games is not very large. The Buccaneers are in the bottom five of the league for opposing quarterback points and I believe this week will be no different.

Strong Week 3

For players who follow through and pick up Trevor Siemian expect a lot of flack from league mates. No one believes in Siemian despite a strong week 3 simply because he has not been in the league for that long. Plenty of younger quarterbacks have been picking opposing defenses apart and in my opinion it is no longer a valid argument against young quarterbacks. Another factor to keep in mind is Siemian’s ability to throw deep passes. The Bucs secondary has been one of the worst in the league against the deep ball. Siemian is not scared to pull the trigger and a few big plays will easily win players their fantasy games.

Ultimatum

So far this season my streaming strategy has been highly effective. Although some people may not believe in Siemian I highly encourage all players to start him this week against Tampa Bay. Due to Tampa Bay struggling against opposing quarterbacks and Siemian showing he can perform in the NFL, I see him as an easy option to stream this week. Due to his low ownership in fantasy leagues I think it is rather obvious that he should be a top waiver target.
