West Ham face Middlesbrough at London Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 1. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

West Ham have endured an awful start to the season. The Hammers have one win and five losses so far, the sole victory an uninspiring 1-0 at home against Bournemouth. Last week’s 3-0 loss to Southampton was the worst yet for Slaven Bilic’s side, who are in 18th place only because of the even more pronounced incompetence of Sunderland and Stoke. The biggest problem has been at the back — the Hammers have conceded 16 goals already — but the inability to score against the Saints may suggest those struggles are spreading throughout the team. As long as Dimitri Payet is around, this team will have some sort of chance, but these are seriously worrying times.

Middlesbrough have been okay through six games, but they have now lost three in a row after a strong start. Granted, two of those defeats came against good, top six teams in Everton and Tottenham, but Aitor Karanka’s side need to get back to winning form. Alvaro Negredo has proved a shrewd signing up front, but what was the best defense in the country last year has not been quite as impressive this time around. There was always going to be some drop off after moving up to the Premier League level, but their record of only one clean sheet in six games leaves much to be desired.
