Sasha Banks wins WWE Women’s Championship on WWE RAW (Video)

Sasha Banks, who lost her Women’s Championship to Charlotte previously, got her revenge and her belt back in Los Angeles on the October 3 WWE RAW

The main event of WWE RAW from Los Angeles, CA of Monday, October 3 was set to be quite a big one. Not only would Charlotte be putting the Women’s Championship on the line. She would also be putting it on the line against Sasha Banks, her biggest rival and the woman that she took the belt from. Needless to say, the stage was set for a major night right outside of Hollywood, no matter the result.

Shocking no one who has seen these two women in the ring together before, Sasha and Charlotte put on one hell of a match. They continued the story with their wrestling that they’ve been telling for months now. However, there was still the outcome in question. While it would make sense to get the belt on Banks, would they actually do it this quickly on RAW?

As a matter of fact, WWE would indeed do that. After a grueling match with plenty of shenanigans from the heel in Charlotte, Sasha Banks locked in the Banks Statement for the final time and cranked back on it. It was too much for even the Women’s Champion to take as she tapped out:

That’s right; your new Women’s Champions is Sasha Banks, who will now begin her second reign with the belt.

If you believe the reports going around, this shouldn’t be all to surprising. The reason that the belt was taken off of Banks in the first place was because she was reportedly injured. When the injury wound up being minuscule, though, they were left trying to figure out how to get the belt back on here. Well, a title match on RAW in a major market is as good of a place as any.

Now we’ll see what’s next for both these women and how they plan to work Bayley into the fold.
