The Toronto Blue Jays walked off in the 2016 AL Wild Card game and here are the best Twitter reactions from the wild finish.

The first game of the 2016 MLB Playoffs is in the books and it finished in wild, exciting fashion. Quite the fitting finish to the open of the most intriguing time of the year for baseball fans.

Just like everyone expected, the game was a back-and-forth affair after home runs from Jose Bautista and Mark Trumbo set off the fireworks early on. Each team hit a long ball in the first four innings and that shouldn’t surprise anyone seeing as that’s what got these two teams to the postseason, essentially.

Baltimore’s homer from Trumbo was a two-run shot and gave the Orioles a 2-1 lead in the fourth, but the hosting Blue Jays tied it up a couple of innings later thanks to a couple of doubles and a single.

The Blue Jays advance to the ALDS and will face off against the Texas Rangers this Thursday for Game 1. The Orioles barely snuck into the playoffs, so this loss was extra painful as they had to fight their way up the wildcard standings at the end of the year and nearly fumbled the second spot to the Detroit Tigers, Seattle Mariners and Houston Astros.

Edwin Encarnacion had the walk-off three-run homerĀ for the Blue Jays in the bottom of the 11th and it gave Toronto one of the most exciting wins in recent memory. If the Jays keep hitting like they have been, there might not be a team in the American League who can slow down the potent offense.

Let’s take a look at the top Twitter reactions to the walk-off home run by Encarnacion:
