Game 1 of the ALDS will be streamed online by TBS in the USA and SN in Canada.

Because Game 1 of the ALDS between the Texas Rangers and Toronto Blue Jays starts at 4:30 ET, some die-hard baseball fans will be forced to stream the action online while chained to their desks at work. Luckily, Major League Baseball and its broadcast partners have actually managed to embrace technology for a change. Once again, the playoff games broadcast on TBS and SN will be live-streamed for your viewing pleasure.

TBS allows viewers to stream the game by logging in with their username and password provided by their cable service. SN works similarly. So, if you subscribe to cable, you can watch the game wherever you are. TBS will stream the game from its flagship website, which can be accessed here. TBS also has an app which will allow for on-the-go viewing. SN, Canada’s premier sports network will stream the game here, but is not accessible in the United States.

TBS provides a quality streaming experience, and has also added several new features to its MLB coverage this season. The product that is streamed features the exact same video, commentary, and graphics as the television version.

Game 1 of this series will pit Cole Hamels of the Rangers against Marco Estrada of the Blue Jays. Toronto won a hotly-contested ALDS matchup against the Rangers last season in five games. This year’s series should also provide plenty of fireworks after the teams engaged in a massive brawl earlier in the season.
