Keys to Victory
Todd Gurley has to get the ball moving this week for the Rams. He was stuffed against the Arizona Cardinals last week and will be going against a physical front from Buffalo. If he can’t get the ball moving, it puts the onus on Case Keenum to pull through for his team.
The Buffalo Bills need to be able to move the ball through the air. The Rams’ secondary likes to take away what the opposing quarterback likes best. Their defensive line is also going to be coming after Tyrod Taylor. If they can’t protect Taylor, then it could be a long day in Los Angeles.
Lastly, Marcell Dareus has to make an impact in his return. It’s first game since his suspension and the Bills are going to need him to be a force in the middle of the defensive line.
Prediction
Both of these teams have been playing good football and above expectation. Someone has to lose this week though and the Bills are on a second straight road game. Traveling all the way across the country is a tough task for anyone and the Rams have been great thus far. This will be a close one, but Todd Gurley will get a big touchdown to give his team the lead late.
Pick: Los Angeles 24, Buffalo 21
