A look at how to watch Friday night’s game between the Clemson Tigers and Boston College Eagles.
On Friday night, the No. 3 Clemson Tigers will travel to play the Boston College Eagles in an ACC matchup. This will take place at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, MA.
Clemson is coming off a huge win over Louisville last Saturday. This saw the No. 5 and No. 3 teams, respectively, battle in a shootout of a game. Tiger quarterback Deshaun Watson and Cardinal signal caller Lamar Jackson racked up over 600 yards passing combined. However, the five touchdowns from the former proved to be too much to overcome.
Watson has put himself in the Heisman Trophy conversation through the first five games. While the numbers aren’t where they were in 2015, he still has 14 touchdowns and 1,302 passing yards. A potential stat stuffer performance could boost his candidacy.
As for Boston College, they come into this game at 3-2, with both losses coming in conference play. However, they are coming off a blowout win against Buffalo. That might not say much about their team, though, as teams like Virginia Tech blew them out, 49-0.
To pull off the upset, the Eagles will need a near-perfect performance out of dual-threat quarterback Patrick Towles. He has 174 rushing yards to go along with 806 passing yards, but at just a 50-percent completion percentage clip. The running game will probably be heavily relied on then, but going to the ground against one of the nation’s best quarterbacks may be a difficult task.
