LeBron James, Cavaliers make surprise appearance at Indians playoff game (Video)
LeBron James and the rest of the Cleveland Cavaliers made a surprise appearance before the Cleveland Indians took on the Boston Red Sox.
This might be the best the city of Cleveland has ever had things. The Cleveland Cavaliers are defending NBA Champions and the Cleveland Indians have a chance to bring home a World Series. Needless to say, with the championship drought ending and another one that could be on the way, it’s a hotbed for sports off the shores of Lake Erie right now. LeBron James has fulfilled his promise of bringing home a title and now he wants the Indians to do the same.
Before the Indians took on the Boston Red Sox in Game 2 of the ALDS on Friday, James made a surprise appearance alongside his Cavaliers teammates in front of a capacity crowd in Cleveland. The entire crowd lost their minds seeing James enter the field behind home plate.
James then grabbed a mic and got the crowd even more fired up talking about the Indians. Things in Cleveland have been electric since the team held on for a huge Game 1 win over Boston on Thursday night. With a win on Friday, the Indians would put themselves just one game away from reaching the ALCS.
With a championship attitude already being brought forth by the Cavaliers, it only makes sense to send James in to get the crowd and team fired up even more. The city that was once the most cursed sports city in America has a chance to reverse their fortunes in a big way. James is going to make sure he can help out any team in Cleveland in any capacity he can.
