The Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giants will begin their National League Division Series matchup tonight at Wrigley Field. First pitch in the game will be at 8:15 pm Eastern Standard time and will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1.
Jon Lester will take to the mound for the Cubs and be opposed by Johnny Cueto for the Giants, in a matchup of Cy Young contenders.
The late start to the game will luckily enough allow many fans to avoid having to go through covert measures during the workday to view the game. The announced start times for the games in this series have made it be the later game in the National League side of Divisional Series affairs, with Saturday’s game 2 being the evening game as well.
