The NL West Champion Los Angeles Dodgers (91-71) travel to Nationals Park on Friday, October 7, to face-off with the NL East Champion Washington Nationals (95-67). The series will kickoff with a fierce pitcher’s duel between a couple of Cy Young Award winners in Clayton Kershaw (12-4, 1.69 ERA) and Max Scherzer (20-7, 2.96 ERA). The full schedule is below.

Game 1 — Fri, Oct. 7 5:30 PM ET (FS1)
Game 2 — Sat, Oct. 8 4:00 PM ET (FS1)
Game 3 — Mon, Oct. 10 TBD (FS1/MLBN)
Game 4 — Tue, Oct. 11 TBD (FS1)
Game 5 — Thu, Oct. 13 TBD (FS1)

The first two games will be played at Nationals Park with late afternoon, east coast start times. The series will then shift to Dodger Stadium on Monday, October 10, for a possible two games before potentially shifting back to D.C. for a Game 5.

The broadcast team for the series includes Kenny Albert, Harold Reynolds and Tom Verducci calling the action on FS1 with Bob Costas and Jim Kaat handling duties on MLBN.

During their regular season series, the Dodgers swept the Nationals at home in June, while the Nats took two out of three at home in July. Having the benefit of home-field advantage, Washington was 50-31 at Nationals Park this season while the Dodgers posted a losing road record (38-43).
