The Alabama Crimson Tide looked the part of the No. 1 team in the country, rolling over the Arkansas Razorbacks to stay perfect in 2016

The Alabama Crimson Tider are the No. 1 ranked college football team in the country for a reason. However, there was hope among the Arkansas Razorbacks that Bret Bielema and his guys could conjure up some magic at Razorback Stadium on Saturday night. Unfortunately, even magic can’t stop Jalen Hurts and the Tide from rolling right now.

Hurts got the action started quickly for Alabama. With the defense then stepping up and creating turnovers (and even scoring some of their own), the Crimson Tide jumped out to an early big lead. They looked like they might run away with it, but Arkansas quarterback Austin Allen showed he had a little fight in him against a juggernaut opponent.

Unfortunately, it was all for naught. A few costly turnovers, including a fourth-quarter interception in the fourth quarter that was returned 100 yards for a touchdown to seal the game, ended any chance for the Razorbacks. In the end, Alabama remains unbeaten and looking unbeatable. Shocker.

Three Stars

Jalen Hurts, Alabama – The true freshman shined again for the Tide. He finished the evening going 13-for-17 for 253 yards and two touchdowns through the air, though he did throw a pick. For good measure, he had eight carries for 20 yards and two more scores.

Damien Harris, Alabama – Harris absolutely torched the Razorbacks with both his rushing and receiving abilities. He took 13 carries for 122 yards on the night while also catching two passes for 60 yards and a score.

Austin Allen, Arkansas – Even throwing three interceptions, Allen seemed like the only player who wanted to play for the Arkansas offense besides Jared Cornelius. He finished going 25-of-48 for 400 yards and three touchdowns.
