Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon’s BYU vs Michigan State game from East Lansing online.
Michigan State is coming off one of its worst losses in the Mark Dantonio last Saturday, falling at Indiana, 24-21. The overtime defeat was especially painful because the Spartans had a 14-0 lead late in the third quarter and it looked like they would cruise to victory.
Tyler O’Connor continues to be a risky play under center for the Spartans as his inaccuracy and shakiness in the pocket is concerning. Still, he has managed to complete 61 percent of his passes for 918 yards and eight touchdowns through four games.
LJ Scott is struggling a bit as the starting running back, accounting for a team-high 302 yards and two scores, but he’ll snap out of it. R.J. Shelton, Donnie Corley and Monty Madaris are a daunting receiver trio for opponents, all putting up over 200 yards this season.
BYU has had a rough start to the season as well, posting just a 2-3 record through five weeks, but somehow the Cougars are just a five-point underdog heading into Saturday’s game in East Lansing.
The 26-year-old gunslinger Taysom Hill is back for yet another season and his turnover ratio isn’t pretty. He has passed for 1,117 yards and five touchdowns with six interceptions. Nick Kurtz has been his top target, catching 18 passes for 205 yards and a touchdown.
Jamaal Williams is coming off a monster game against Toledo and he leads a strong run game for BYU. He’s recorded 703 yards and eight touchdowns on 6.5 yards per carry.
