Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon’s Houston vs Navy game from Annapolis online.
The Houston Cougars have been one of the best non-Power Five teams in the country this season, and last season, too, for that matter. Since Tom Herman took over the program prior to the 2015 season, the Cougars are 18-1 and a lot of it has to do with Greg Ward Jr.’s success.
The senior quarterback has all the confidence in the world this season and he’s playing like a true Heisman contender. He has passed for 1,325 yards and eight touchdowns and has rushed for 178 yards and five more scores in just four games.
Linell Bonner and Steven Dunbar have been huge boosts in the passing game as well. The two receivers have combined for 765 yards and four touchdowns while the ground game is averaging over 200 yards per contest. This offense is potent, to say the least.
Navy is no slouch, though. Coming off a tough loss to Air Force last week, the Midshipmen will be hosting the Cougars and giving them everything they have. It’s always a scary game for a ranked team when the opponent gets to play with nothing to lose.
The Midshipmen are a run-first unit and they average over 250 yards per game on the ground. Chris High leads the way with 295 yards and four touchdowns on 8.0 yards per carry. This ground game might give Houston a bit of a scare on Saturday.
