Full streaming details for Saturday’s Big 12 matchup between the Iowa State Cyclones and Oklahoma State Cowboys.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys will look to remain in Big 12 contention when they host the Iowa State Cyclones on Saturday afternoon at Boone Pickens Stadium.
Oklahoma State sits at 3-2 on the season overall, including a 34-25 loss in a tough road matchup at Baylor two weeks ago. Even after starting Big 12 play at 0-1, the Cowboys have enough talent to make a run with their upcoming schedule, and easily took care of Texas last Saturday.
Once again, Mike Gundy’s team features a high-powered offense that is piling up over 40 points per game this season. Junior quarterback Mason Rudolph is already approaching 1,700 passing yards with 10 total touchdowns to follow up his strong 2015 campaign. Rudolph has plenty of help, as James Washington and Jhajuan Seals are two of the most explosive receivers in the nation.

Iowa State is off to a 1-4 start under first-year head coach Matt Campbell, who previously spent five years at Toledo. While a Week 1 loss to Northern Iowa didn’t inspire much confidence, the Cyclones have played better recently, and led Baylor for the entire game before losing on a last-second field goal.
Campbell’s offenses typically rely heavily on the run, and the Cyclones have indeed been feeding the ball to Mike Warren often early on. However, Iowa State’s hopes of an upset will rest on quarterback Joel Lanning, who went 17/23 for 261 yards and two touchdowns against Baylor, while also picking up 57 yards and another score on the ground.

While the Cowboys are the heavy favorite at home, Iowa State showed it can compete with the Big 12’s upper tier last week. A loss to the Cyclones would end any chance Oklahoma State has of running down Baylor, West Virginia or Oklahoma later on.
