UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen suffered a right leg injury against Arizona State. He left the game briefly before returning with an obvious limp

Josh Rosen burst onto the scene for the UCLA Bruins last year as a true freshman. Though he had his growing pains, the quarterback looked every bit the part of a five-star, five-tool signal-caller ready to take college football by storm. Entering his sophomore season with the Bruins, the expectations were sky high. Though they’d been tempered a bit heading into a Week 6 matchup against the Arizona State Sun Devils, the talent was still obvious. Unfortunately, that talent might be severely limited going forward.

After taking a number of big hits in the first half against Arizona State, it was only a matter of time before Rosen started to feel the effects. Sure enough, he took a monster hit and was forced to the sideline with a right leg injury. He spent several minutes being looked at on the trainer’s table in obvious pain.

However, Rosen ultimately came back into the matchup. However, he was far from 100 percent. The sophomore quarterback was sporting an obvious limp on the field. It was clear that he was still favoring the right leg and not wanting anything to do with putting too much pressure on it. What’s more, he continued to have trainers look at him after his next drive following his return ended.

If Josh Rosen goes down, this UCLA team is absolutely done. They’ve been underwhelming with the star youngster in the lineup and healthy. If he’s not playing at full health or has to be out for any length of time, they’re going to collapse ridiculously quickly.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated as to the extent of the injury as more information becomes available throughout the night and coming days.
