Which team did Lee Corso select for his College GameDay headgear pick between Tennessee and Texas A&M?
On Saturday, College GameDay traveled to College Station, TX for the Tennessee vs. Texas A&M game. This is a marquee SEC game and one of the top contests of the weekend. As usual, GameDay analyst Lee Corso would make his popular headgear selection on one of these teams.
Tennessee comes into this game as the No. 9 team in the country. They’ve remained perfect despite barely walking out of a handful of games with victories. This is from having to overcome second-half deficits, which are usually double-digit points. However, they’ve managed to get past the likes of Virginia Tech, Florida and Georgia, all of whom will boost their résumé.
Texas A&M is ranked just one slot below the Volunteers at No. 8. They came into the year unranked, but defeated UCLA, Auburn and Arkansas and have stayed perfect. They’ve been led by a proficient rushing attack featuring Trayveon Williams, who is averaging an astounding nine yards per carry this season. This is on 54 carries for 487 yards.

Picking between two of the top teams in the nation is a difficult task. They’re led by some of the best offensive players in the country, so plenty of points should be put up on Saturday. Aggies quarterback Trevor Knight will be one of the players to watch for this with his 1,500 combined scrimmage yards. He’s coming off a subpar passing performance against South Carolina, though. Better than 206 yards will be needed to get by Tennessee.
