Texas A&M kicker Daniel LaCamera missed the winning field goal in regulation to defeat Tennessee.

College kickers doesn’t even begin to describe the scene at Kyle Field on Saturday. After the Texas A&M Aggies thought they had a win, luck was on the side of the Tennesse Volunteers again in regulation. An impossible touchback allowed the Volunteers to tie the game and Daniel LaCamera helped force overtime.

As Texas A&M drove down the field for the win, they lined up for the field goal. Tennessee head coach Butch Jones used all of his timeouts to freeze LaCamera before he could kick the field goal. Well, it turned out to be the right idea.

LaCamera shanked the field goal so bad, it went wide left and never had any chance of making it. Texas A&M looked absolutely stunned as Tennessee celebrated the fact they were going to overtime.

For those that didn’t watch this game, this one was over. Then a fumble and a missed field goal somehow allowed the Volunteers to tie things up. After a Hail Mary last week and plenty of miracles in prior weeks, the Volunteers are feeling rather lucky with the way they have been playing lately.
