College Football AP Poll Week 7

After a wet and wild Week 6 in College Football, the AP Poll gives us a lay of the land as we near the midway point in the year.

It was another wild and crazy weekend in College Football, one that included plenty of sloppy play thanks to the weather. Well, not all of the sloppy play can be attributed to Hurricane Matthew, but that was no doubt a perfect metaphor for what we saw unfold on Saturday.

Title hopes died a hard death or programs like Miami and Houston, while Washington, Texas A&M and others continued to stake their claim. Tennessee finally ran out of luck, but not before Butch Jones and company gave the Aggies a run for their money.

With  Hurricane Matthew delaying the release of the poll until Monday, let’s take a look at what we think the Top 25 will look like. Check back at 2pm ET on Monday for the updated poll. We will note as such when it happens.

Things didn’t hardly change in the top of the AP Poll, with some thinking that Michigan abusing Rutgers deserved to have them move up to No. 3 in the country. Behind the Top-4, things were shaken and stirred thanks to Houston and others losing on Saturday.
