Chicago Cubs President of Baseball Operations Theo Epstein could do nothing but watch his team struggle against the San Francisco Giants in Game 4.

After winning the first two games of the NLDS against the San Francisco Giants, things were looking good for the Chicago Cubs. Then they lost a brutal Game 3 in 13 innings and struggled for most of Game 4. With pressure mounting on the Cubs, everyone started getting a little more nervous than usual.

One person that couldn’t help but watch his team struggle was Cubs President of Baseball Operations Theo Epstein. Sitting in the crowd at Game 4, Epstein had to endure his team struggling against the Giants and their inability to get out of the inning.

For a man whose team has been the talk of baseball all year, they suddenly could be on the verge of a major collapse. Many have felt this was the team’s best chance to lift the curse and finally win the World Series.

Unfortunately for the Cubs, they are facing a Giants team that is impossible to put away. Going into Tuesday night’s game, the Giants had won 10 straight games when facing elimination. Thre’s plenty of reason to understand Epstein’s expression.
