The Oakland Raiders are one of the hottest teams in the NFL this season, and many feel they will reach the playoffs for the first time since 2002. Derek Carr has emerged as one of the best young quarterbacks in all of football, and they have incredible weapons at wide receiver position. Running back Latavius Murray is an All-Pro back, and head coach Jack Del Rio has completely turned around the culture for the Silver and Black.

Unfortunately, the defense continues to struggle, and last week, gave up a ton of points to a short-handed San Diego Chargers team. The Raiders spent a high draft choice on D.J. Hayden back in 2013, and the young cornerback has not played up to the potential he showed at Houston. It may be time to dip into the well and grab another corner with a first round pick four years later.

Jourdan Lewis is a big-time player, and has become a key part of Jim Harbaugh’s defense for the undefeated Michigan Wolverines. Raiders fans have a soft spot for defensive backs from Michigan, as they said goodbye to Charles Woodson last season. The team made some moves in the offseason to shore up their deficiency at corner, but it has not worked. Lewis would be a nice grab late in the first round.
