Best college football quarterback born in every state

Wyoming: Casey Bramlet – Wyoming Cowboys
Wyoming isn’t a major pipeline for good college quarterbacks. Bill Garnaas, an All-American for the University of Minnesota in 1941, is one name that comes to mind. But the distinction of the best Wyoming-born signal-caller is best reserved for Casey Bramlet.
Bramlet was born in Casper, Wyoming and attended Wheatland High School, where he starred in football, basketball and track. Although he was heavily recruited by Colorado State, he decided to play his college football for the Wyoming Cowboys. During his time in college, Casey set new school records for career passing yards, touchdown passes and pass completions. He’s also the only player in school history to pass for 3,000-plus yards in three different seasons. Additionally, Bramlet was selected to the All-Mountain West second team in 2001.
Bramlet went on to play for several teams in the NFL, but he never seemed to stick around with any for longer than a year. Despite his lack of pro success, it’s safe to view Casey Bramlet as the best and most accomplished college QB born in the Equality State.
