Heading into Week 6 of the NFL season, the San Francisco 49ers have made a change at quarterback, and will start Colin Kaepernick over Blaine Gabbert.

The San Francisco 49ers are off to another horrific start in the 2016 NFL season, and will now look to make a change at the quarterback position. Blaine Gabbert has been highly ineffective this season, so the team will insert former starter Colin Kaepernick under center for their Week 6 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Kaepernick has made headline for his actions off the field this year, so lets see if he can make some with his play on it.

The Denver Broncos will travel to San Diego to play the Chargers on Thursday Night Football, as they look to get back on the winning track. The team was forced to start rookie Paxton Lynch this past week against Atlanta, and the first round draft pick struggled in his first start. Denver expects to have Trevor Siemian back in time for the matchup against the Bolts, after he missed the last game with a sprained AC joint in his non-throwing shoulder.

It looks like Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Lane Johnson will have to serve his 10-game suspension after all. Johnson was suspended for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs. , and had played the first four games of the season while appealing the suspension. The league upheld the suspension on Tuesday, and now the start tackle will not be eligible to return until Week 16. The suspension is a big blow for an Eagles team that has played very well to start the season.

Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase is not pulling any punches in his first season with the team, stating if you do not play well, you will be gone. On Tuesday, he made that happen, releasing two of his starting offensive lineman. Billy Turner and Dallas Thomas were waived by the team, leaving holes at right guard, and left tackle. The team may be sticking with quarterback Ryan Tannehill for the time being, but it appears anyone is fair game to be let go.

It appears that running back Justin Forsett has found a new home. After losing his starting job with the Baltimore Ravens this season, Forsett was released by the team last week. On Tuesday, Forsett took to Instagram, releasing a video of a Lion, while typing “Let’s Eat” under the clip. Forsett, who will turn 31 this season, worked out for Detroit earlier in the day, and will now give their depleted backfield some depth.
