Borussia Dortmund face Hertha Berlin at Signal Iduna Park on Friday. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
After falling to Bayer Leverkusen two weeks ago, Dortmund find themselves in third place in the Bundesliga, one point behind second place Hertha Berlin. BVB has seen their exceptional scoring run dip the last few games, including a 2-2 draw against Real Madrid in the Champions League on September 27, and failing to find the back of the net in their 1-0 loss to Leverkusen.
Hertha Berlin have only lost once during their 2016-17 Bundesliga campaign, a 3-0 drubbing at the hands of leaders Bayern Munich back on September 21. Their last match before the international break saw them defeat Hamburg 2-0 at home.
Unlike the other clubs at the top of the Bundesliga table, Hertha does not have to account for additional matches in European competition. And while most of their supporters wold prefer that not to be the case, it allows them to focus solely on fielding their strongest team for league matches.

American soccer fans should find this match interesting as there is the potential for BVB’s Christian Pulisic and Hertha’s John Brooks to face off against each other. Both were called into the USMNT squad for a pair of friendlies this past week. Brooks should be starting at center-back while Pulisic will be hoping to be recalled to his starting spot on the wing after coming off the bench in the last few matches for Dortmund.
