The Kansas City Chiefs will head to Oakland to take on the Raiders on Sunday. Here is how to watch the action online.
In his third season, Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr has established himself as one of the better young players at his position in the NFL. After an amazing sophomore season in 2015, Carr has led the Raiders to a their first 4-1 record since 2002, and has Raiders fans thinking playoffs. Oakland will have a huge test on Sunday, as they welcome AFC West foe Kansas City to O.co Coliseum for a huge early season matchup.
Kansas City comes into their Week 6 contest against the Raiders feeling fresh, after having their bye week during Week 5. The rest could not have come at a better time, as they were crushed by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football their last time out. Running back Jamaal Charles made his season debut against the Steelers, playing 10 snaps, and could have an expanded role on Sunday.
Quarterback Alex Smith is the ultimate game manager, and he leads an offense that can put up points in a hurry. Tight end Travis Kelce is one of the best in the business, and Jeremy Maclin can turn a game on its head with his big play ability. The Oakland defense has shown itself to be suspect at times, so the Chiefs could take a few shots downfield in this one.
Oakland is hoping to get running back Latavius Murray back, after the Pro Bowlers missed last week’s win with a toe injury. The Raiders rookie running back tandem of Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington picked up the slack, helping the Silver and Black mix the run with the pass. Former Chiefs cornerback Sean Smith will be playing against his old team for the first time on Sunday, and you can be sure he will be hoping to make a big play.
