The Heisman hype video for Louisville’s Lamar Jackson may be the most excitement one can witness in three minutes.

The clash between Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton isn’t the only campaign making national headlines. Today, the University of Louisville released a hype video to promote the Heisman Trophy candidacy of all-everything quarterback Lamar Jackson.

For Louisville, this is new territory for them as they’ve yet to have a Heisman winner. With Jackson, he can be the first to represent the Cardinals among the greatest college football players to ever play.

Prior to the start of the college football season, many preseason Heisman Trophy lists didn’t feature the dynamic signal-caller. Since the start of the season, the Florida-bred quarterback played with a gargantuan chip on his shoulder due to lack of initial admiration.

Since stepping on the field this year, the love fest for Jackson has grown.

He kicked off the college football season in a way that hasn’t been seen in recent memory. In the Cardinals first game, Jackson turned heads against Charlotte as he scored eight touchdowns.

After his stunning performance in the season opener, he maintained his insane play. Boasting 28 total touchdowns through five games, it’s likely he could surpass the NCAA record of 63 touchdowns held by Hawaii’s Colt Brennan.

Thus far, Jackson has easily been the most electrifying football player through this point of the college football season. With J.T. Barrett, Jabrill Peppers, Deshaun Watson, among others, making a case to strike the pose, Jackson has to withstand his stiff competition, and continue to play like a modern-day Tecmo Bowl player.
