Alabama is the defending National Champion. The Crimson Tide are a perfect 6-0 (3-0) on the year and are poised to get back to Atlanta for yet another SEC Championship Game. This teams isn’t as explosive as it was the year before, but might be the SEC’s best shot at winning the third annual College Football Playoff. It’s never a bad thing to have Nick Saban as a team’s head coach.

Tennessee is 5-1 (2-1) on the year. The Volunteers lost their first game of the season last weekend in College Station to the Texas A&M Aggies in double overtime. Tennessee is still the front-runner to win the SEC East, but has to learn to play a complete 60-minute game to be championship caliber.

According to OddsShark.com, Tennessee will be getting nine points at home against the Crimson Tide. Alabama has defeated Tennessee every season since Nick Saban’s first year in Tuscaloosa in 2007. While no lead is safe when competing against the Volunteers, Tennessee is clearly the underdog at home to the SEC juggernaut Crimson Tide.
