Brandon Reilly made another ridiculous play on this catch that he hauled in on Saturday afternoon

Nebraska wide receiver Brandon Reilly is one of the more athletic wide receivers in the country, and he’ll put that on display every once in a while. Saturday, he made what some might call the play of the year.

The Huskers are taking on the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday, and early on in this game, Reilly was streaking down the sidelines. However, it looked like the pass was gonna fall a little short, or maybe even be picked off. Either way, it didn’t seem like he was coming down with the ball in the end.

Thanks to some nice bounces and some ridiculous concentration, Reilly somehow, some way ended up coming down with the completed catch.

For good measure, here’s another angle of that pure insanity.

You can watch these videos over and over, and in the end, you just find yourself wondering just how in the world he was able to come down with that ball. That play looked just dead to rites, but it ended up being one of the best plays that we will see all year.

The big thing on this play has to be the concentration. That’s something that gets overlooked a lot when it comes to wide receivers, and the concentration that Reilly has shown time and time again makes him without a doubt one of the best players in the country on the offensive side of the ball.

When it comes to plays of the year, it’s gonna be hard to ultimately top this one.
