The Wake Forest Demon Deacons face the Florida State Seminoles on Saturday in college football Week 7. Here’s how to watch the game online.
Deondre Francois and the Florida State Seminoles are riding high after last week. The talented young quarterback led Jimbo Fisher’s team to a nail-biting victory over their rivals in the Miami Hurricanes. The level of competition as they head back to Doak Campbell Stadium in Week 7 drops off, but the Noles will have to look to avoid the dreaded letdown game against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
Francois was simply magnificent for Florida State in the win over Miami. When you combine what the freshman has done this season with the talent of Dalvin Cook, their record isn’t fully indicative of how good this team actually is. They’ve had issues defensively, but they sure looked good in taking on The U last week. Wake Forest isn’t a good football team, but they’ll hope for that effort on that side of the ball to continue.
In fairness, Wake Forest is 5-1 on the season, a better record than that of the Seminoles. However, the level of competition has been far less impressive than Florida State’s. Moreover, the overall level of talent simply pales in comparison to what they have in Tallahassee.
